Enhance the Output Power of a Shaded Solar Photovoltaic Arrays with Shade Dispersion based TCT Configuration

Partial shading has a negative impact on the performance parameters of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) array, because it shades certain panels while leaving others un-shaded. This article focuses modeling, comparing and assessment 6×6, 6×5 5×6 size shadowed solar PV arrays under different partial cases in MATLAB/ Simulink software. For this purpose, simulation series-parallel (SP), Total-Cross-Tied (TCT) proposed shade dispersion based TCT (SD-TCT) type array configurations was carried out few cases. The SD-TCT designed using technique, which is number logic approach. In order to effectively remove row-current mismatches configuration, shaded un-shaded modules an were re-arranged, so that expands across whole array. physical placement been reordered accordance with pattern exclusive altering electrical links among panels. results showed superior conventional configurations.
